Singer James Taylor, 53, and his wife, Boston Symphony Orchestra publicist Caroline "Kim" Smedvig Taylor, 46, became parents of twin boys last week when an unnamed surrogate mother gave birth, according to a spokesman for Taylor. The boys, who are the couple's biological children, will be called Taylor Twin No. 1 and Taylor Twin No. 2 until the parents name them. Taylor has two children from a previous marriage (to "Anticipation" singer-songwriter Carly Simon): Sally, 27, and Ben, 24. Taylor and Smedvig Taylor were married in February.
