MTV Apologizes

MTV apologized on Thursday to two 14-year-old girls who were sprayed with excrement by performers during the taping of "Dude, This Sucks" and who then sued the cable network for infliction of emotional distress, negligence and battery, reports Reuters. The taping took place last January. "This was a terrible incident," said Brian Graden, the network's president of programming "It was unintended, and we regret that it happened." He vowed that the footage of the stunt would never be aired.
