The California Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected O.J. Simpson's attempt to overturn the $33.5 million civil court judgment against him for the 1994 deaths of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ronald Goldman. The Associated Press reports that justices' decision not to review Simpson's a ppeal was unanimous. The ex-gridiron star, now 53, was acquitted of criminal charges in the case in 1995. He was then sued for wrongful death by the victims' survivors, found liable for the killings and ordered to pay $33.5 million in damages.
