Some 24,000 Martha Stewart Everyday brand teakettles sold at Kmart (for up to $30 apiece) have been recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, reports The Washington Post. They tend to leak and burn their users, says the Commission, which handed down its order on Monday. And Martha, in a statement, said: "Consumer safety is extremely important to us." As The Post detailed, the kettles came in charming and festive varieties of stainless steel or white, sage and slate-colored porcelain.
