Paul: On the Road Again
It's the long and winding road again for Paul McCartney, 58, who said in a statement Wednesday that for the first time in eight years he's planning to travel and perform a string of impromptu shows around the world. "That would be good," said the ex-Beatle and Wings star. "I do fancy that, actually." The mini-tour should kick off come September, when he releases a new CD. He will play in concert with his new album team of unknown young musicians. "You can't reform Wings for the same reason that you can't reform the Beatles," he explained, "because a very important member of each band wouldn't be there."
