Mineko Iwasaki, 50, who inspired the best-selling novel "Memoirs of a Geisha," is suing its author Arthur Golden (as well as Random House publishers), claiming he violated their confidentiality agreement and soiled her reputation. She filed an eight-page complaint filed Tuesday in Manhattan Federal Court and is asking for an unspecified percentage of the $10 million that has been earned by the book. Golden has not commented. A Random House rep called the legal action "baseless."
