G.I. Joe's New Duds

G.I. Joe, 37, is getting a makeover. Hasbro, Inc., which manufactures the action figure, plans to outfit him with new mountain climbing and scuba gear, reports the New York Observer. The toy will also be at the center of a new TV ad campaign, his first in at least six years. In other news, Hasbro has also reportedly hired a cartoonist. His mission: to begin a comic strip starring Mr. Potato Head, 48. A movie or TV show may follow.
