Jamie Lee Curtis, 42, has committed to star in "Halloween: The Homecoming," which will be volume eight in the movie franchise about homicidal mental patient Michael Myers, reports Variety. Curtis made her feature film debut in the first "Halloween" in 1978 and is now seen as the wry spokeswoman in TV commercials for a cellular phone company. Shooting on "H8" is slated to begin Monday in Vancouver. The last outing, "Halloween H2O" in 1999, grossed $55 million.
