Movie icon Marlon Brando, 77, did a day's work on the upcoming horror spoof "Scary Movie 2," though its filmmakers decided he was too sick to carry on, the movie's writer-star, Marlon Wayans (no relation to Brando) told the New York Post. "We didn't want to be responsible for killing the Godfather," said the 22-year-old Marlon. "He wanted to go for it," said Shawn Wayans, 30, who also co-wrote and stars. "He had an oxygen mask and we were like, 'Yo, we gotta let him go. This guy is not healthy.' " No Brando footage will be used in the film, which opens July 4. Brando, who reportedly was suffering from pneumonia, forfeited his multi-million-dollar salary. The Wayans brothers, who are behind the film, supposedly considered having Bill Clinton replace Brando. Instead, they chose James Woods.
