Julia Roberts, Benjamin Bratt Split

After nearly four years together, Julia Roberts and Benjamin Bratt have broken up, a spokeswoman for the "Law and Order" actor has confirmed to New York's Daily News. "It's true, they are no longer together," said Bratt's spokeswoman, Ina Trakiosis. The two, who wore matching friendship rings, were cozy at last March's Oscar ceremony, where Roberts, 33, was named best actress for her role in "Erin Brockovich." Her publicist could not be reached for comment regarding the break-up. "All that I have to say about Julia couldn't possibly fit into one or two sentences," Bratt, 37, told PEOPLE in 1999. "She is an incredible woman." Robert's love history is a thing from which movie plots are born, what with her highly-publicized break-up with Kiefer Sutherland in 1991 (on the very eve of their wedding) and a 21-month marriage to singer Lyle Lovett. In her pre-Bratt days she was also linked to Jason Patric, Dylan McDermott, Matthew Perry and Liam Neeson. Last year, Bratt explained to PEOPLE why his relationship with Roberts worked. "We balance it by keeping it real."
