The movie legend isn't quite ready to go home, as doctors had originally expected her to, and Pulitzer-winning novelist Eudora Welty has died at 92.

POSTPONED: Katharine Hepburn's expected discharge from the hospital didn't happen on Monday. Doctors are requiring more time to monitor her ability to walk, said a spokesman for Hartford (Conn.) Hospital, where the movie legend, 94, was admitted Wednesday night for treatment of a urinary tract infection . . . DIED: Internationally acclaimed Mississippi writer Eudora Welty, 92, died Monday after a bout with pneumonia, said a spokesman for Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. Her novels included "The Optimist's Daughter," for which she won the 1973 Pulitzer Prize . . . OFFERED: "Frasier" star Kelsey Grammer, 45, has put his 2,100-sq.-ft. Hollywood Hills house on the market for $715,000, reports the L.A. Times. He and his wife, model Camille Donatacci, decided they weren't spending enough time there to keep it, said the paper. The couple's other homes include a five-acre property in Malibu that Grammer purchased for $4.5 million in 1998.
