Blue skies, white sands -- and Bruce Willis. The Wall Street Journal reports that the star, 46, has purchased 7 1 acres of beachfront property valued at an estimated $5 million to $7 million on the pristine Caribbean chain of islands Turks & Caicos. (Miami is but 600 miles to the north.) Willis plans to build a 7,500-sq.-ft. main house and a couple of two-bedroom guest cottages, with construction set to kick off in September, says the Journal. Turks & Caicos is obviously a new hot spot. The paper also reports that New York-based designer Donna Karan, 52, is breaking ground there on 10 1 acres of beachfront. Her land deal alone -- not counting the four-house compound she reportedly hopes to build -- is said to be worth between $7 million and $9 million. And when Willis and Karan are not in residence at their respective spreads, vacationers can rent them. Expect to plunk down between $10,000 and $12,000 a night to bunk at Willis's. Karan's hideaway will cost about $12,000 a night.
