Some questions about the talent pool were raised this weekend concerning Michael Jackson's upcoming reunion performance with his five brothers, scheduled for Sept. 7 and 10 at New York's Madison Square Garden. Two of Michael's siblings, Jermaine and Randy, publicly complained about the ticket charge for the event, which is to be the first regrouping of all six Jackson brothers (including Jackie, Tito and Marlon) on one stage since their 1984 "Victory Tour." Tickets are carrying a face value of up to $2,500, reports Reuters. "The exorbitant ticket prices being charged by the promoters will prevent some of our most loyal and true fans from attending the shows," Jermaine and Randy Jackson stated in an open letter to the media circulated on Friday. "Further, it is almost embarrassing that no charities have been named to benefit from this most momentous occasion." The letter also notes that Jermaine Jackson has not signed on for the show but claims "there is no rift between Michael and any of his family members." The event's producer, David Gest, responded to Friday's message from Jermaine and Randy with a statement of his own. He said that the Jacksons "will reunite without Jermaine."
