Supermodel Niki Taylor, 26, is back in the hospital, being treated for problems from injuries she suffered in an April 30 car accident, her publicist said Friday. The cover girl was admitted to Florida's Memorial Regional Hospital in stable condition on Tuesday, said Lou Taylor, who is not related to the model. "Due to the severity of Niki's injuries," said the publicist, "setbacks and future treatments are expected as part of her ongoing recovery." Taylor is expected to remain hospitalized for an indefinite period. "Right now we are just taking it one day at a time and thanking God for returning Niki home to us." During a recent check-up, doctors found "a little bit of infection and decided to keep her," Taylor's aunt, Mary Eaton, told reporters. Taylor was riding in a car that crashed into a utility pole in Atlanta on April 30, leaving her with severe liver damage. Doctors treated her for life-threatening injuries for eight weeks at Atlanta's Grady Memorial Hospital. She was released on June 26 and moved to a private rehabilitation center, then was readmitted to the hospital on July 6 to have fluid drained from around her liver. She returned to her home in Davie, Fla., on July 18.
