Jermaine, Michael Jackson Make Nice

After many reports of friction between the two brothers, Jermaine Jackson, 46, will indeed perform with the Jackson 5 at the concerts honoring his brother, Michael, 42, reports the Associated Press. Concert producers released a statement last month saying Jermaine Jackson had dropped out of "Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Celebration, The Solo Years," scheduled for Sept. 7 and 10 at Madison Square Garden, after Jermaine had expressed concerns about the shows. In a statement, the older brother complained about ticket prices, which ranged from $45 to $2,500, and said that the Jacksons should perform alone. They are scheduled to perform with 'N Sync. But Danny O'Donovan, the Jacksons's manager, said that there has not been a change of hearts or minds. Simply, Jermaine "always wanted to do the show, and I don't think he ever said he was not doing the show. He was just voicing some of his concerns," O'Donovan said. Among the artists and celebrities scheduled to perform and pay tribute to Michael Jackson are Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, Elizabeth Taylor, Marlon Brando, Kobe Bryant and Macaulay Culkin. When the 40,000 tickets went on sale for the two concerts, they reportedly sold out in five hours.
