Sean Hayes: A Helping Hand

He plays Jack on "Will & Grace," but actor Sean Hayes recently added a new credit to his resume: Most Likely to Help Out. Hayes helped a bleeding robbery victim he spotted lying on the ground in a residential Los Angeles neighborhood at about 9:30 Friday night, reports Reuters. Hayes, 31, stopped his car, removed his shirt and applied it to the bleeding man's wound until an ambulance and police arrived, his publicist said. Los Angeles Police confirmed that Courtney Cunningham was shot outside his home that night after he was approached by two men who attempted to rob him. Word of Hayes's heroism is only now leaking out because Hayes didn't want to make a fuss about it. "We're just letting the situation speak for itself," his publicist, Michelle Bega, said. Hayes won an Emmy last year for his work on "Will & Grace" and is nominated for another this year.
