Rap entrepreneur Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, 31, unveiled his new line of Sean John Loungewear at New York's Bloomingdale's department store on Wednesday. On the catwalk: a streetwise collection of men's underwear, pajamas and robes. For the unveiling, Combs chose models who were buff, tattooed and, in many cases, with shaved heads. They strutted down the runway in skimpy briefs, tight boxers, sleeveless "muscle" T-shirts, thick ankle-length robes and pajama sets with baggy tops and low-slung drawstring bottoms. "The men's underwear department needs something new," said Jeff Tweedy, executive vice president of Sean John. "It's been very, very boring." Bloomingdale's fashion director Kal Ruttenstein told Reuters that the line, which has been on store shelves less than two weeks, was selling well. Customers, said Ruttenstein, tend to wear "tops or bottoms, but not together." Unlike typically more staid fashion shows, the models were greeted with hoots and hollers of delight from onlookers, who included Combs's attorney, Benjamin Brafman, and Combs's mother, Janice, said Reuters.
