Supermodel Postpones, Rosie Resumes

DELAYED: Supermodel Christy Turlington, 31, has postponed her wedding to actor/director Ed Burns, 33, because of fears of more terror attacks, reports the New York Post. The nuptials, set for later this month in Italy, were pushed back after the anthrax scare broke . . . PLANNED: "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" returns live on Monday after taking this week off due to the anthrax scare at NBC. O'Donnell, 39, shut down production last Friday, after the network's news anchor Tom Brokaw's assistant tested positive for anthrax. "Rosie" originates from a studio at NBC's headquarters in 30 Rockefeller Center. Monday's scheduled guests are Steve Zahn ("Riding in Cars With Boys") and singer Macy Gray . . . WAYLAID: Britney Spears has delayed the start of her U.S. tour by five days, to Oct. 31, after being felled by the flu, her label, Jive records, has announced. The tour will now kick off in Washington at the MCI Center. It was originally to have begun in Miami on Oct. 26, but will now end there on Dec. 19. The Oct. 28 date in Tampa, Fla., has been rescheduled for Dec. 18 . . . ADDED: The Grand Ole Opry is joining the list of benefit concerts for families of victims of the Sept. 11 attacks. The Nov. 11 show at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium will feature Vince Gill, Steve Wariner, Little Jimmy Dickens and Marty Stuart. In other benefit news, Trisha Yearwood and Hank Williams Jr. have been added to the lineup for Sunday's Country Freedom Concert in Nashville . . . SUED: Country musician Joe McDonald is being sued for allegedly stealing the tune of his 1965 protest song "I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-to-Die-Rag" from a 1926 song by famed jazz trombonist Kid Ory. Ory's daughter, Babette Ory, filed the lawsuit last month in U.S. District Court in L.A. She claims that McDonald lifted the tune to her father's Muskrat Ramble and argues that McDonald's infringement was intentional. According to the lawsuit, Ory told McDonald in July that his song infringed on her father's copyright, but he continued to perform it.
