HONORED: Tom Hanks with the 30th annual Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute. Ceremony will be aired June 23 on the USA Network . . . NEWLY ITEMIZED: Tim Burton, director of "Planet of the Apes," with Helena Bonham Carter, who played one of his apes. Burton de-itemized with longtime partner Lisa Marie Smith; Bonham Carter previously got between Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson . . . DENIED: Rumors that she will be the next "Bond girl" by tennis star Anna Kournikova. "I don't think I'm ready for that," said Kournikova, who has been suffering from a stress fracture in her foot . . . SUSPENDED: ABC Sunday anchorwoman Carole Simpson for revealing details about the 7-month-old baby who contracted anthrax at ABC and his mother, a producer there. Simpson will be back on the air Nov. 4 . . . DESIGNATED: Nuku Hiva, an island in the Marquesas archipelago of French Polynesia, as location of the next "Survivor." That would be No. 4, if you're counting.
