Disney and Pixar's "Monsters Inc.," about a monster factory whose rank and file includes a lime-green, one-eyed wisecracker voiced by Billy Crystal, is a monster hit. It recorded the best debut ever for an animated film and the sixth-best opening of all time, according to studio estimates Sunday. The film even performed better than the earlier "Toy Story" movies and "A Bug's Life."
