The Dave Matthews Band took home four trophies Sunday at the second annual My VH1 Awards, where, typically, anything went -- including an award for best bellybutton (Britney Spears). On a more serious note, Jon Bon Jovi and guitarist Richie Sambora opened the show at L.A.'s Shrine Auditorium with a rendition of "Here Comes the Sun," a tribute to former Beatle George Harrison, who died Thursday. "This show is loud and doesn't take itself too seriously," "Frasier" star Kelsey Grammer told PEOPLE as he arrived. "That certainly isn't the case at the Emmys or the Oscars. This is the kind of show that will keep you young." Ex-Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, who attended with Prince's ex, Mayte Garcia, can attest to that. After introducing Mary j. Blige, he dove off the stage into a sea of audience members just so he "could see her sing up close," he said. After her stage appearance, presenter Calista Flockhart admitted that she was excited to meet Lenny Kravitz, whom she described as the "ideal rock star," because he is "experimental yet classic, and doesn't wear boxers or briefs," reports PEOPLE. Jewel, eyeing the now-unattached Benjamin Bratt, quipped sarcastically, "He was the first person I ran into when I got here. Boy, I started off the evening really poorly." She, meanwhile, was being given a careful once-over by Chris Isaak, who told Isaac Hayes that she was "a looker." Isaak then went on to sum up the night's fashions: "It's all sequins and cleavage," he observed. "As long as we can show sequins, cleavage and filth on TV, we've won."
