Most of the plentiful flashy and frou-frou items were sold, for a total of nearly $30,000. At the same auction, a dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in "The Seven Year Itch" fetched about $27,000. . . . PREMIERING: On Wednesday VH1 will air an original biopic about rapper MC Hammer, "Too Legit: The MC Hammer Story." The movie follows the travails of the balloon-panted former superstar, 38, who sunk into bankruptcy and oblivion after spending all of his money. . . .SUIT DROPPED: The Florida Orchestra decided not to pursue a lawsuit against Arista Records, which recently re-released a version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" recorded in 1991 with Whitney Houston and the orchestra. In the wake of Sept. 11, the record label found a new audience for the single, but refused to pay potentially lucrative royalties to the Florida group. Lawyers for both sides say they are working to resolve the dispute.
