Clint Eastwood's 8-year-old daughter, Francesca, and his former companion, "Titanic" actress Frances Fisher, 49, both showed their real-life pluck and escaped a Christmas morning fire at their house in Vancouver, Canada, where Fisher was shooting a TV series, reports the Associated Press. The youngster reportedly was forced to crawl out her bedroom window and onto the garage roof of the burning home before jumping into the arms of a neighbor. She was not seriously injured, though her mother, who played one of the hookers in Eastwood's Oscar-winning 1992 film "Unforgiven" and Rose's mother in the 1997 blockbuster "Titanic," suffered burns to her hands and was treated at Vancouver General Hospital. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined. "They're very, very fortunate to have escaped alive," North Vancouver assistant fire chief Steve Atkinson told the AP. Eastwood was informed of the incident by constable Christy Veenstra of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Hearing the news over the phone, Eastwood, 71, reacted "like any father would be who gets a call on Christmas Day about a fire," said Veenstra to AP. "Shock. Very somber. Asked how they were doing. His immediate reaction was to get to his daughter."
