Berry, Thornton to Heat Up the Screen

If you were wondering what Angelina Jolie sees in husband Billy Bob Thornton, ask Halle Berry. "He's very sexy," Berry told the New York Post. "I think he's handsome, absolutely, but his sex appeal comes from something else -- the way he looks at you, the way he takes you in. He makes everyone feel special; he takes the time to talk to you and look at you." Berry stars with Thornton in "Monster's Ball," set to be released Dec. 26. In it, one love scene had to be cut by a minute to avoid an NC-17 rating, The Post reported. "I felt like I was watching two people who had no idea they were being watched," said director Marc Forster. The film was shot on a small budget; Berry reportedly took a significant pay cut because she was so interested in the film, in which she plays the wife of a man who is executed by a prison guard (played by Thornton) with whom she becomes involved. "It's polar opposites sometimes that make the best chemistry," Berry told the newspaper. "That's what's displayed in the movie."
