PASSAGES: This Ginuwine Not Genuine
INDICTED: Ronrico Madison, 24, of Minnesota, was charged Wednesday for allegedly impersonating R&B singers Ginuwine and Jodeci's Donald "DeVante Swing" DeGrate in a money-milking scheme. He faces 10 years in prison for fraud. In one case, Madison, allegedly posing as Ginuwine, set up a concert gig in Ohio. The concert promoter sent Madison $9,000 and spent $6,000 on advertising the gig before realizing that this Ginuwine was not genuine . . . ARRESTED: Christian Alan Flogerzi, 23, of Sprague River; Jason Nathaniel Corbin, 22, of Klamath Falls; and the property's caretaker, Dean Smith, 31, were arrested on Tuesday on charges of burglary, theft and criminal conspiracy after allegedly stealing firearms and tools worth more than $20,000 from the rural Oregon home of '60s sex siren ("Vertigo") Kim Novak, 68. The three are being held on bail ranging from $85,000 for Smith to more than $100,000 for Flogerzi. Police expect to make more arrests, reports the Associated Press . . . DIED: Model and actress ("Tuff Turf") Catya Sassoon, 33, the daughter of celebrity hairstylist Vidal Sassoon and his wife, Beverly, died in her sleep after attending a New Year's party at a friend's house. "She complained of feeling woozy," her manager, Hilly Elkins, told the Associated Press. The Los Angeles coroner's office said autopsy results were pending. Elkins said she suffered from high blood pressure . . . DECLINED: Plus-size model Emme, 38, had told Playboy magazine "no" after it asked her to pose in the buff. "I was pretty slack-jawed," she told PEOPLE. "I thought to myself, 'I want to frame this letter and put it in my office.' " Her husband-manger, Phillip Aaronson, remained open-minded about the offer, however. Said Emme, "He said to me, 'I know you don't want to do this, you are more than just your body, but boy, wouldn't that be cool?'"
