A phenomenally successful book series, the biggest grossing movie of 2001 and now a husband: All told, it's been a magical year for Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling. She married anesthetist Dr. Neil Murray at their home in Scotland the day after Christmas, her spokeswoman said Saturday. "J.K. Rowling and Neil Murray were married privately on Dec. 26 at their house in Perthshire," Nicky Stonehill said. "Their immediate family attended the wedding." Rowling, 36, previously was married to Portuguese journalist Jorge Arantes, with whom she has a daughter, Jessica, 8. (It was as a single mother in Edinburgh that Rowling began writing the adventures of the boy wizard. There are four books published in the series so far, out of an intended seven. Rowling has said she has already written the last sentence of the last book.) Murray, 30, also was married before. The couple met in Edinburgh just over a year ago, according to the Associated Press. No word on if and where the couple is honeymooning.
