OSCARS: Telling Time on the Big Night

For Oscar party-hoppers, time is of the essence. With that in mind, reports PEOPLE, celebrities such as Renee Zellweger, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Michael J. Fox, Tracy Pollan, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Katie Holmes and Jennifer Garner are already among the gifted owners of the new, quirky little Oscar Decision timers from Links of London. For those who have never heard of Links, it is similar to Tiffany's in New York, a jewelry store (spelled "jewellery" in England, where "spelled" is spelled "spelt") specializing in silver trinkets and, as the Links Web site points out, "occasionally gold." Company founder and managing director Annoushka Ducas is a sort of "The Lady of the Rings" (sorry). According to her store's promotional material, "Whatever you buy will be delivered tissue wrapped, pouched, boxed and tied with a ribbon with all the care you'd use yourself (if you had the time and patience)." Speaking of time, one side of the Oscar Decision timer resembles a regular silver pocket watch and comes with a black, white and gold face with Oscar's image. The back features a dial that names all five Best Picture contenders: "A Beautiful Mind," "Gosford Park," "The Lord of the Rings," "In the Bedroom" and "Moulin Rouge." The timepiece retails for $190.
