PASSAGES: 'Will' Expects a Baby
EXPECTING: The stork will go into overdrive later this year for three celebrity couples, PEOPLE reports in its newest issue. "Will & Grace" star ERIC MCCORMACK, 38, and his wife of five years, assistant director JANET HOLDEN, 36, await their first child in July. "Today" show weatherman AL ROKER, 47, and "20/20" correspondent DEBORAH ROBERTS, 41, married since 1994, are expecting their second child later this year. (Daughter Leila is 3.) And JOHNNY DEPP, 38, and singer-actress VANESSA PARADIS, 29, already the parents of Lily-Rose, 2, await their second child this summer . . . SHIFTED: Reigning Miss America Katie Harman, 21, has backpedaled on an earlier statement to pageant directors in which she had complained, according to her mother and father, about the unexpected fees associated with her title, a lack of lucrative bookings and the rude treatment of her parents, reports the Associated Press. But in a prepared statement issued by the Miss America Organization on Wednesday, the former Miss Oregon said, "For the record, I love the job of Miss America and am 100 percent in support of the Miss America Organization." Yet Harman backed out of a scheduled phone interview with the AP, the news service reports, though she said she would answer questions at a Friday press conference . . . AGREED: Elizabeth Taylor, who turns 70 at the end of this month, accepted an invitation on Wednesday to present a special Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation award to Shirley MacLaine, 64, on April 13 at the organization's Los Angeles media awards, reports USA Today. Annette Bening, 43, will also present an award to writer Alan Ball ("American Beauty," "Six Feet Under"), 44. Nathan Lane, 46, will be honored at GLAAD's New York awards on April 1.
