What's Hot in Body Parts for 2002

What do women want? According to a survey given over the past year to some 1,500 female patients of Dr. Richard Fleming, codirector of the Beverly Hills Institute of Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery, the answer is Halle Berry's cheeks, Heather Graham's eyes, Heather Locklear's nose, Denise Richards's lips and Britney Spears's body, reports Reuters. "Our patients' beauty ideals appear to have been based on which particular actors are considered the latest and the greatest," said Fleming, who conducts the annual poll with his partner, Dr. Toby Mayer. Results were revealed Wednesday. As with clothes, the popularity of certain looks changes every year, note the doctors. For instance, last year's top-ranked nose, Nicole Kidman's, now comes in second behind Locklear's. Marisa Tomei's schnoz ranks third. In the male department, the winners were Brad Pitt for eyes, Benicio Del Toro for lips, Johnny Depp for jaw, Russell Crowe for chin and the newly buffed Will Smith (who shaped up for his role in "Ali") for overall body. Not that just anyone can go in and purchase the above items. (The entire package of eyes, nose, cheeks, lips and body could run upwards of $40,000, reports Reuters.) "There is a limit," says Fleming. "We have to deal with what we're presented. If Roseanne Barr comes in and wants to look like Britney Spears, I don't care, it's just not possible."
