Olympics Even Bigger Than 'Friends'
The drama of Canadian skaters David Pelletier and Jamie Sale were just part of what propelled the Winter Games to the head of the Nielsen list.

Chandler, Monica, Rachel, Ross and Phoebe, move over. The biggest TV stars last week were Canadian skaters David Pelletier and Jamie Sale, who were promoted to equal first place with original winners Yelena Breznaya and Anton Sikharulidze of Russia after suspicions arose that the judging had been rigged. And, according to the Nielsen ratings, viewers tuned in. Actually, the Olympics swept the entire week, with NBC broadcasting the top seven programs, all from Salt Lake City. (Expect a rerun of this type of reaction next week, especially with Thursday night's stunning gold win for figure skater Sarah Hughes, 16, of Great Neck, Long Island, N.Y.) CBS had the remaining five shows in the top 10 (three tied at No. 10), led by a rerun of "Everybody Loves Raymond." Beyond the Top 10, the highest-rated ABC show was "The Practice," which tied at No. 15 with CBS's rerun of the feature movie "The Fugitive," starring Harrison Ford. The Top 10 shows for the week of Feb. 11-17, according to Nielsen Media Research:
