'Nervous' Celine Delivers Concert
The pop diva sings in Hollywood and announces that she has a new boss: He's one year old and has no regard for what time he bothers her.

Hollywood's Kodak Theater is getting hotter and hotter. The recently completed venue, which will bow as Oscar's new home come Academy Awards night on March 24, served as the backdrop Sunday night for Celine Dion's first performance as a headliner since she temporarily retired two years ago to start a family. Reuters reports that the pop diva, 33, performed about a dozen numbers along with guests Destiny's Child and Brian McKnight. "I'm a little bit nervous, right?" she said upon first facing the crowd, according to Reuters. "I've got some butterflies going on. But I'm so excited to be back on stage." As the show went on, she made reference to her son, Rene-Charles Angelil, whose first birthday was Jan. 25. "I've got a new boss, a young boss," she said, joking that he's got her hopping at all hours. "No matter how hard I work, he still sh--- on me every chance he gets." Musically, she delivered the title track from her new album, "A New Day Has Come," which is due out March 25. She also sang some of her hits, including the inevitable "My Heart Will Go On," from 1997's "Titanic." Sunday night's appearance is only part of Dion's gradual return to show business. (She helped present the record of the year award at last Wednesday's Grammys, an appearance that consisted of little more than kissing Stevie Wonder on the cheek.) Dion and her manager-husband, Rene Angelil, 60, have negotiated a lucrative three-year deal for her to headline the new 4,000-seat theater being built at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and set to open a year from now. Meanwhile, Sunday night's show from the Kodak Theater will be broadcast as a special on CBS on April 7.
