Star Jones's Birthday Bash a Smash

There was no need left unfulfilled, no cocktail glass left unfilled and no pleasure denied at the four-day "Fabulous and Forty" birthday party that the co-host of "The View" threw for herself and forty of her gal pals in Montego Bay, Jamaica, reports PEOPLE. The celebration that Star Jones has been planning for the past year came off gloriously as she and her friends camped out at the Half Moon Golf, Tennis & Beach Club resort, their days filled with pool parties, manicures and pedicures, facials, massages and a yacht cruise, their nights spent dancing to reggae bands, listening to Natalie Cole singing "Unforgettable" and drinking Star-tinis, her custom cocktail. Some of the lucky guests included actresses Lorraine Bracco, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Kim Cattrall, Holly Robinson Peete and Jackee Harry; Malaak Compton-Rock (wife of Chris), songwriter Denise Rich and "View" costar Lisa Ling. "You just see the glow in her face," Ling told PEOPLE. "This has been her life's ambition for the last year and you will not find a single person here who has been disappointed in the least. The work that she's put in for all of us, we feel like it's our birthday." Another perk for the guests: a goody bag filled with Dom Perignon, travel bags from Ralph Lauren and Kate Spade, Burberry, Speedo, Sean Jean and Fubu clothes and Christian Dior sunglasses, among other name-brand luxury items. Of her gala fortieth, Jones said as she sipped champagne aboard a bamboo raft, "I'm having the time of my life. I feel like an African queen."
