TIRED: Oscar nominee Dame Judi Dench, 67, told the BBC that she will take a break from acting for a while, partly to mourn the loss of her husband, Shakespearean actor Michael Williams, who died in January 2001. The actress has been in a string of films since his death, including "The Shipping News," "Iris" and the new James Bond movie ... AWARDED: Country music legend Loretta Lynn, 66, was given an honorary doctorate from the University of Kentucky on Saturday, reports the Associated Press. The school's senior vice president, James Holsinger Jr., called Lynn "a traveling ambassador for both the entertainment world and the state of Kentucky." ... ACCUSED: A man who allegedly broke into the Malibu home of a couple, mistakenly thinking the house belonged to Meg Ryan, will stand trial on Thursday on misdemeanor charges, reports the AP. Ryan, 41, recently won a three-year restraining order against John Michael Hughes, 30, who told police he was married to the actress. Hughes last year served time in jail for attempting to sneak firearms onto President George W. Bush's ranch ... SOLD: Paul McCartney's first tour in 10 years, set to kick off April 1, is proving to be a hit already. The first five shows sold out within 30 minutes on Saturday, according to USA Today. Fans grabbed the 75,000 tickets to the Driving USA tour dates over the phone and via the Internet, the newspaper reported ... WATCHED: Nearly 40 million people tuned in for "9/11," the documentary aired on CBS that showed firefighters and rescue workers in the middle of the devastation of the World Trade Center, the Associated Press reported. Nielsen Research Group said the special garnered one-third of the night's viewers. In New York City, where the attacks occurred, almost half of all television sets were tuned to the two-hour show, broadcast on the eve of the six-month anniversary of the attacks and hosted by actor and Gotham resident Robert De Niro.
