PLANNED: The head of the Calcutta chapter of the International Society of Krishna Consciousness revealed plans to the Associated Press to create a garden in eastern India in memory of the late Beatle George Harrison. The musician, who died of cancer in November at the age of 58, is credited with introducing America to Hinduism and Eastern spirituality through songs like "My Sweet Lord". . . . SPLIT: Singer/guitarist Chris Cornell has quit Rage Against the Machine, reports Billboard and MTV. The former Soundgarden frontman, who joined the group last year after singer Zach de la Rocha departed, gave no reason for his decision. The band is still expect to perform on this summer's Ozzfest tour . . . . RETURNING: Thirty years after it was cancelled, "The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour" will be rebroadcast by Country Music Television. Johnny Cash, Liza Minnelli, and Waylon Jennings were among the musical guests who performed on the variety show during its run from 1969 to 1972. Campbell, 65, is best known for the country pop hits "Gentle On My Mind" and "Rhinestone Cowboy." . . . EXPECTING: R&B singer Brandy, 23, and her husband, producer Robert Smith, revealed to the Associated Press that they are having a girl. The actress is five months pregnant with the baby, who's due in July. But, she revealed to the AP, she's still not sure what they'll call her. "I've been thinking of some interesting names, but I don't have one yet," she said. . . . WED: ZZ Top bassist DUSTY HILL and his girlfriend of 10 years, actress CHARLEEN "CHUCK" McCRORY, were married Saturday in Houston, Texas, reports the Associated Press. In other wedding news, infamous newsmaker JOHN WAYNE BOBBITT remarried on his 35th birthday, reports the AP. Bobbitt married JOANNA FERRELL, 31, in Las Vegas, Saturday. . . . SIGNED: "Leap Of Faith" costar Regina King is pretty busy these days. The NBC sitcom actress has also joined the cast of Nathan Lane's new series "Life of the Party" over at CBS, reports Variety.
