The scene: Saturday night's White House Correspondents' Association dinner in Washington, D.C. Cast: The press corps, plus stars Harrison Ford, Christie Brinkley, Raquel Welch, Sally Field, Drew Carey and Glenn Close. All told, there were 2,700 guests at the Washington Hilton for the banquet. But, reports The Washington Post, there was no mistaking the biggest stars of the event, besides President Bush: -- MTV stars Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, who were the guests of Fox News anchor Greta van Susteren. Asked by a reporter before the meal what he would ask the president should they meet, Ozzy, 53, replied: "Dual citizenship. I want to be an American. America is the coolest place on the face of the earth. You've got freedom of speech. You've got McDonald's." Sharon, 49, wore a Gothic midnight-blue ball gown, reports The Post, which described Ozzy's outfit as a Gothic blur of black and magenta and pink and blue -- "the clothes, the hair, the shades, the tattoos." Ozzy, who was seated at Table 168, did get a chance to speak to Bush, at Table 1 -- sort of. Secret-servicemen separated the two, says The Post, though the distance didn't deter Ozzy from saluting the Chief Executive, who nodded back in acknowledgement. "You should wear your hair like mine!" Ozzy shouted to President Bush. At first, the president silently turned red, then cracked his famous little smile, says the Post. "Second term, Ozzy!" the president replied.
