OFFERED: An 18-karat gold necklace laced with diamonds, sapphires and onyx worn by Calista Flockhart on "Ally McBeal" (whose finale comes May 20) goes on sale Tuesday at a Fox Web site hosted by online auctioneer eBay, reports Reuters. Proceeds from its sale will benefit the World Trade Center School Relief Fund. Items worn by Kiefer Sutherland on "24" are also on the block . . . ENDED: Liza Minnelli's stepmother, Lee Anderson Minnelli, 94, dropped her elder abuse and breach of contract lawsuit against the star, 56, in a Los Angeles courtroom Monday, reports the Associated Press. The elder Minnelli was claiming that Liza was selling the house that had been left her by Liza's father, Vincente Minnelli. Liza is reportedly refusing to discuss the case or its settlement, but Lee told reporters outside the courtroom, "I love her. She's my daughter" . . . HONORED: Former child superstar Shirley Temple, 74, will be on hand Thursday when a child-center building will be named for her on the 20th Century Fox lot, reports Variety columnist Army Archerd. At the ceremony, a life-size bronze statue by Nijel Binnis of little Shirley in "Baby Take a Bow" will also be unveiled . . . EXPLAINED: On Monday night's "The Mary Tyler Moore Reunion Special" on CBS, costar Valerie Harper, 61, explained to Moore, 63, the enduring appeal of the characters the two of them and Cloris Leachman, 76, played for seven years on the beloved sitcom (1970-77): "Mary was who everybody wanted to be, Rhoda was who you probably were, and Phyllis was who you were afraid you'd become." Love is all around.
