CAST: "High Crimes" hunk Jim Caviezel will star as impassioned American Revolutionary figure Ethan Allen in "Rebels," a historical drama set to begin shooting in late July, reports Variety. Allen was the son of settlers who had purchased a land grant in the Green Mountains -- later known as Vermont . . . NAMED: Sylvester Stallone, 55, a 25-year show-biz vet, will be named action star of the millennium at the Video Software Dealers Association Convention July 16 in Las Vegas, says Reuters. The title comes 20 years after the premiere of "First Blood," in which he played the oil-chested character John Rambo. "I'm very, very humbled by that," Stallone told Video Premieres magazine about the honor. "There's a lot of competition out there" . . . ENGAGED: White House press secretary Ari Fleischer, 41, has popped the question to Rebecca Davis, 26, a staff member in budget director Mitch Daniels's office, reports The Washington Post. She accepted. No wedding date has been set. As for the size of the rock, which was purchased at Tiffany's, Fleischer told The Post, "That's classified" . . . SUED: Kid Rock, 31, has been slapped with a copyright infringement lawsuit by Microhits Music over his song "Cowboy," reports Billboard. Microhits claims that Rock used a substantial portion of the '80s club song "I Wanna Be a Cowboy" by Boys Don't Cry (to which the company holds the copyright).
