ANNOUNCED: Doogie Hauser is back. Actually, it will be the actor who played him, Neil Patrick Harris, 28, who will supply the voice of Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man, in a new MTV cartoon series based on the adventures of the superhero, reports the Associated Press. "Stay (I Missed You)" singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb, 34, will be the voice of Spider Man's girlfriend, Mary Jane Watson. The show is due to debut next winter. . . CONFIRMED: As expected, an autopsy report on the April 5 death of Alice in Chains lead singer Layne Staley, 34, has established that he died of a heroin and cocaine overdose, reports AP. Drug paraphernalia was reportedly at the Seattle-based grunge singer's side when his body was discovered some two weeks after the overdose . . . DENIED: R&B superstar R. Kelly, 33, accused of having sex with an underage girl on videotapes that have circulated across the country, denied the allegations in a taped interview on "BET Tonight with Ed Gordon" Wednesday, reports AP. "I've done a lot of wrong things in my life, but I'm not a criminal, I'm not a monster," said the Grammy-winning singer ("I Believe I Can Fly"), whose full name is Robert Kelly. Police in Chicago, where the musician resides, are investigating the allegations, reports the news service.
