Marital Split: J.Lo a Solo Act Again
Love may not cost a thing, but it doesn't seem guaranteed to hang around, either. After fewer than nine months of marriage, Jennifer Lopez and her husband, dancer Cris Judd, have split, the Associated Press reports, noting that the parting is amicable and there are no immediate plans for divorce. Lopez, 31, married Judd, 32, in September 2001, only months after her split from hip-hop mogul Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs, 32. Judd, who was a background dancer in the video for Lopez's song "Love Don't Cost a Thing," recently has been more involved in her career, directing the video for Ja Rule's remix of her song "Ain't It Funny" and choreographing a concert special she made for NBC, the AP notes. The two also collaborated on the song "Alive," which is on the soundtrack for her movie "Enough." Lopez's first marriage, to model Ojani Noa, ended in divorce in 1998 after just more than a year.
