"American Pie" actress Natasha Lyonne, 23, will enter a plea agreement in a drunken-driving case against her in Miami, her lawyer confirmed Tuesday to the Associated Press. As a result, says the news service, effective Aug. 14 (when the plea takes effect), her driver's license will be suspended for six months, she will perform 50 hours of community service, her car will be impounded for 10 days and she will shell out about $1,000 in fines and court fees plus whatever it will cost to replace the road sign that she struck. The actress, who appeared as the character Jessica in the 1999 original and last year's sequel to the gross-out teen comedy, will also be placed on probation for six months. As PEOPLE.com reported last August at the time of the accident, Lyonne was arrested by Miami Beach police at about 1:45 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after her rented Dodge ran off the road and into a traffic sign. No one was injured. She was also charged with careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. According to the police report, Lyonne took a corner too fast when the vehicle skidded off the road and smacked into the sign and some bushes. She then backed up and drove off. The officer said that when he stopped her and smelled alcohol on her breath, Lyonne told him, as reported by Reuters: "I'm a movie star. Can I talk to my entertainment lawyer?" According to the arrest report, her passenger, "Saving Private Ryan" actor Adam Goldberg, now 31, told the officer: "I tried to stop her. I just didn't know how. I didn't know whether to grab the emergency brake or what." Police said Lyonne later told them she had been drinking in a bar.
