George Lucas has set the date for the release of the home video version of this summer's blockbuster "Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones," starring Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen. The Hollywood Reporter says that "Clones" will hit stores on Nov. 12, well in time for Christmas, and will sell for $29.98 for the special-edition DVD and $24.95 for the VHS version. The two-disc DVD, to be made available in both full-screen and widescreen versions, "marks the first time that a live-action feature shot digitally will be transferred to the digital medium," Lucasfilm marketing executive Jim Ward told the trade paper. The second disc will incorporate more than six hours of additional materials. Among the extras on it, according to the Reporter: eight deleted scenes, three featurettes, a 12-part Web documentary series, 12 TV spots, a visual effects breakdown montage, an exclusive production photo gallery and the "Across the Stars" music video featuring John Williams.
