Former "Dynasty" patriarch John Forsythe is once again a married man — at age 84. The actor, who reprised his role as the voice of Charlie Townsend in the 2000 film "Charlie's Angels," took a new bride on July 25, USA Today reports. Forsythe wed Beverly Hills businesswoman Nicole Carter, 61, in a private ceremony held in Solvang, Calif. The marriage is the third for the actor, who was married to his second wife, Julie, for 52 years until her death in 1994. Their union produced one son and two daughters. Prior to that, he was divorced from first wife Paula McCormick in 1940 after a two-year marriage. Forsythe's career has spanned five decades, and he's best remembered for his eight-season stint as handsome tycoon Blake Carrington on the '80s TV drama "Dynasty." From 1976 to 1981, Forsythe also was the voice of the unseen boss on "Charlie's Angels," producer Aaron Spelling's hugely successful female crime-fighting series. He reprised the role two years ago for the big-screen version of "Angels" starring Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu. The actor is in talks to return as Charlie for the film's upcoming sequel.
