There was positive news over the weekend for Jason Priestley. The former "Beverly Hills, 90210" heartthrob was released from an Indianapolis hospital, just 12 days after his 180-mph race-car crash into a wall at Kentucky Speedway. Methodist Hospital spokeswoman Penny Johnson tells the Associated Press that Priestley, 32, was released to an undisclosed location late Saturday morning. Early last week, doctors at a press conference said Priestley would likely be moved to a rehabilitation facility after his hospital stay. One day after the Aug. 11 accident, which occurred during practice for the Infiniti Pro Series,
Priestley -- an 11-year veteran of the racing circuit -- was transferred by helicopter from a Kentucky hospital to Methodist Hospital, where physicians repaired fractures on his back and feet. Priestley also underwent surgery on his injured nose and one of his eyes. Even before the procedures, doctors had said that the actor was expected to make a full recovery.
