Meadow Soprano Says 'Yes' to Suitor
Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who plays sometimes-petulant daughter Meadow Soprano on "The Sopranos," received an offer she couldn't refuse over Labor Day weekend, PEOPLE reports in its latest issue.
Sigler's manager and boyfriend of one year, A.J. Discala, proposed while the two were on a Mexican cruise.
To end the suspense: Yes, she accepted.
The magazine goes on to say that Discala (who, at age 31, is 10 years her senior) waited for Sigler to step out of the shower before he then recited a poem to her and asked her to marry him. No wedding date has been announced.
As tangible proof of their intentions, the 21-year-old actress wore the square-cut diamond ring -- with its two smaller diamonds on either side -- to the splashy Sept. 5 New York City "Sopranos" premiere party after a screening of the first two episodes of the mob series at Radio City Music Hall. (The show's fourth season kicks off Sunday on HBO. The network, like PEOPLE, is part of AOL Time Warner.)
But just so nobody would bother her with questions about so large a rock, Sigler wore the flashy bauble on her right, rather than her left, ring finger.
Talk about a bright golden haze on Meadow.
