P. Diddy Waxes Poetic on Party Invite
Before guests pop into the rap mogul's post-MTV Video Music Awards bash tonight, they'd better check his very stringent dress code.

That P. Diddy is one strict host. For his MTV Video Music Awards post-party at New York's Cipriani restaurant Thursday night, the rap mogul, 31, has issued a very stringent list of rules and regulations for guests on what they should look like. The New York Post has reprinted the jaw-dropping dictate from Diddy, which declares outright, "The Dress Code Must Be Respected!" Among the party pointers: "If your shoes are scuffed you're going to have a problem. If you're wearing jeans you're on the wrong track." By way of guidance, the host posits, "Think the person you marry is inside." Diddy suggests that guests "pull out the flyest sh-t in your closet, or have your stylist pull something for you." (By way of defining "fly sh-t," the list cites "top designers i.e. Sean-John Collection, Gucci, Dolce & Gabanna, YSL Couture, Versace.") Haircuts and clean shaves are required of "fellas", while, for "ladies: hair-dos, waxing, manicures and pedicures are also a must." The list does not reveal how the host intends to check on the waxing.
