VISITED: Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey, comedian Chris Tucker and former President Bill Clinton are on a five-day tour of Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Mozambique and South Africa to raise awareness about the AIDS epidemic and encourage economic development in Africa, reports the Associated Press. The former president refused the red carpet treatment in Rwanda, says the news service, and instead headed directly to greet a crowd of patients at an AIDS health center. The three men are due to return to the United States on Sunday.

SETTLED?: The breach of contract clash between Courtney Love, 38, and Universal Music is close to settlement and a deal could be announced as early as Friday, The New York Times reports. Terms were not available, though industry insiders tell Reuters that it's expected that Love will be released from her recording contract with Universal-owned Geffen Records, which claims Love still owes the label five albums. Love, meanwhile, alleged that she was cheated out of substantial royalties.

WON: Lisa Donahue, a 26-year-old bartender from Los Angeles, walked out of CBS's "Big Brother 3" house with the $500,000 top prize. Donahue said she missed her cat, Herman, the most during her stay at the Studio City home. She credited her job with preparing her to get along with people from all walks of life and win the prize Wednesday night.

MUGGED: "Jurassic Park" author Michael Crichton, 59, was robbed at gunpoint and tied up by two men who ransacked his Santa Monica home on Monday, his publicist tells AP. His 13-year-old daughter also was at home and tied up, say police, and she reportedly escaped injury. Police tell the news service that some items were taken from the house. Earlier this month, Crichton's wife, Anne Marie Martin Crichton, filed for divorce after 13 years of marriage.

EXPORTED: Miss United Kingdom Juliet-Jane Horne told AP on Thursday that she'll wear the only dress made in a tartan designed for Madonna and her director husband, Guy Ritchie, when she competes in next month's Miss International Beauty Pageant in Tokyo. The blue, yellow and purple dress was designed to mark the first wedding anniversary of the celebrity couple, who married at Skibo Castle in the Scotland Highlands in 2000.
