Jude Law's daughter, Iris, who turns 2 later this month, was rushed to a London hospital Saturday after swallowing part of a discarded ecstasy tablet off the floor at a children's party in a private London club, the BBC reports.
Iris's mother, Law's wife and business partner Sadie Frost, 34, was apparently able to retrieve half of the pill before the girl could swallow the entire tablet, though Iris' stomach was pumped and she was given a precautionary brain scan, police said.
After being kept overnight in the hospital, she was released Sunday morning.
Law, 29, most recently seen in "Road to Perdition," reportedly was informed of his daughter's condition while in America filming the movie version of the novel "Cold Mountain" with Nicole Kidman and Renee Zellweger.
In addition to Iris, he and his wife have three children: Rafferty, 7, and Rudy, who was born this past Sept. 10. Law also has a stepson, Finley, 11, Frost's son from her first marriage to musician Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet.
Police said there was no suggestion of parental neglect surrounding the incident. "There are no plans to take action against the parents of the victim," said a spokesman. "This is being considered as an unforeseen accident outside the parents' control."
