ENGAGED: "Father of the Bride" star Kimberly Williams, 31, intends to walk down the aisle with country star Brad Paisley, 29, Paisley's spokesman Allen Brown confirms to the Associated Press. Paisley's hits include "We Danced" and "He Didn't Have to Be," while Williams, who starred as Steve Martin's daughter in the 1991 and '95 "Bride" movies," is currently on the ABC sitcom "According to Jim."

NAMED: Academy Award-winning actor Michael Caine, 69, will receive a special tribute at the 16th annual AFI Fest in Hollywood, Variety reports. The tribute, to be held Nov. 16. at the historic Cinerama Dome, is scheduled to include clips from Caine's 80-picture career and a conversation hosted by movie critic Leonard Maltin.

ANNOUNCED: Broadway's "Les Miserables" will end a 16-year run after 6,612 performances when the musical based on Victor Hugo's classic novel closes on March 15, the producers announced Wednesday. The epic show, by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, has grossed more than $390 million and been seen by nine million people. It will also stand second on Broadway's longest-running list -- behind the 7,485-performances strong "Cats."

SENTENCED: British '80s pop star Adam Ant (real name: Stuart Goddard), 48, was suffering from a temporary mental illness last January when he threatened pub drinkers with an imitation pistol, a London court ruled Wednesday, according to CNN. He was placed under a one-year court supervision and ordered to pay $780 to musician Pavlos Contostavlos, who was injured when Ant reportedly threw part of a car's electrical system through the pub window.
