Don't look for pop sensation Christina Aguilera to clean up her act any time soon -- particularly in the UK.

For the second straight week, Aguilera remained on top of the overseas singles charts with her hit "Dirrty." The former teen queen put down new challenges from British and American stars alike to retain her grip on the No. 1 spot, Reuters reports.

Aguilera, 21, who in recent years made a splash as a wholesome teenage pop singer, dumped her former image in favor of a more "adult" persona (and more piercings) with the release of her new album, "Stripped."

Even releases from two other American divas weren't enough to unseat Aguilera. Jennifer Lopez weighed in at the No. 3 spot with her new single, "Jenny From the Block," and Mariah Carey's new ballad, "Through the Rain" -- the first since her widely reported nervous breakdown last year -- just made the list at No. 8.

Aguilera also posted surprising returns over British music sensation Will Young, whose single "Don't Let Me Down/You and I" entered at No. 2. It was a disappointing slip for Young, winner of the hit British television show "Pop Idol," whose previous releases have all stormed the top spot on the British charts.

Hip-hop star Nelly and Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child also held strong on the UK charts with their R&B hit, "Dilemma," at No. 4.
