Watch Out Osbournes: Meet the Smiths
Hollywood power family Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are teaming up with UPN to develop a new comedy based on their home life.

It's just your average American family -- except mom and dad make millions starring in big-budget Hollywood movies.
That's right, Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith are about to bring their high-profile Hollywood family to the small screen -- sort of. The couple is teaming up with UPN to produce a family comedy based on their home life, Variety reports.
Unlike "The Osbournes," however, the "Men in Black" star and his actress-wife probably won't appear on the series (they're onboard as executive producers) and the show isn't expected to be an exact re-creation of the couple's life. Variety reports that the series won't necessarily portray the TV husband and wife as celebrities -- but that it would make use of the fact that the marriage is the husband's second and the wife's first.
Will, 34, and Jada, 31, have been married for five years now (that's the length of 20 Nic Cage-Lisa Marie Presley marriages, for those keeping score at home) and together, the couple have a son, Jaden Christopher Syre, 4, and a daughter, Willow Camille Reign, 2. The former Fresh Prince also has a son, Trey, 10, from his previous marriage to Sheree Zampino.
Joining the Smiths on the project is writer-producer Betsy Borns, whose credits include "Friends" and "Roseanne." She's expected to co-write the script with Pinkett Smith. No premiere date has been set.
